Control the growth with this incredible cordless machine from Makita's excellent garden power tool range. It uses two batteries together (the common 18V LXT packs) to provide the motor with 36 volts. The 36V motor is the brushless type which requires minimal maintenance compared to a traditional brushed type, and delivers much longer cordless battery runtime thanks to improved internal efficiencies.
This version of the kit is packed with accessories that completely change the capabilities of the machine. For standard grass trimming there is a nylon string head that will quickly clear areas of grass and light weeds. For tougher weeds you also have the option of using the included plastic cutting head, which uses three serrated blades. Finally, for the toughest jobs, you have a two tooth cutting blade that rips through weeds like a hot knife through butter. As well as these three heads, the kit also includes a harness, dual port battery charger, two 5.0Ah batteries and tools.
