Makita 40Vmax XGT 35cm Line Trimmer | 2 x 2.5Ah Batteries
Fitted with a nylon cutting head and guard which enables cutting of a 35cm diameter, this strimmer from Makita's newer XGT range of garden power tools quickly gets through grass and weeds. It is ideal for both professional gardeners, as well as tradesmen in the XGT ecosystem taking care of their own gardens.
This kit is supplied with two 40Vmax Lithium-ion batteries which each have a 2.5 Amp-hour capacity. The charger included is the high performance DC40RA which features two active cooling fans to cool both the battery and the charger. It can fully recharge each battery in just 28 minutes, and does 4.0Ah batteries in 45 minutes.
For those that own LXT power tools and want to recharge the 18v Li-ion battery packs with this charger, the included ADP10 adaptor allows you to attach LXT batteries to the DC40RA. (the adaptor can only be used for charging).
The UR003G produces very low levels of noise, only 72.2db(A) of pressure, 89.7dB(A) of power, making it much more user friendly for long periods of time. The vibration levels are also low at just 2.5 m/sec(sq). This is thanks in part to the brushless motor that is precision designed and functionally superior to older brushed motors.
