    Makita 750mm Cordless Hedge Trimmer | 40Vmax XGT | UH005G Bare Unit


    This very large hedge trimmer from Makita features a double sided blade that measures 750mm in length, ideal for use by professionals. It is part of the 40Vmax XGT range of Lithium-ion powered tools, cross compatible between trade power tools and garden power tools. The blades are double edged and have a gap between each that allows you to cut branches up to a maximum thickness of 23.5mm.

    The UH005G has many of the features you would expect from a professional grade Makita power tool, including a brushless DC motor for longer runtime, constant speed control to allow consistent performance, electric brake to slow the blade down faster, 3 speed selection switch plus reverse to get unstuck, and an IPX4 water resistance rating. 

    This trimmer requires just one 40Vmax battery pack to operate, but is supplied without a battery or charger to keep the price lower for those already invested in the XGT battery ecosystem. The battery hangs off the rear, giving excellent balance around the auxiliary handle.
