  This hedge trimmer from DEWALT's tough garden range allows you to trim very tall hedges thanks to the extremely sturdy yet lightweight telescopic pole. The motor is mounted at the head to reduce the complexity of the telescoping mechanism, improving reliability. The motor is a brushless DC type which is gives higher performance and better runtime (up to 75 minutes) compared to older brushed motors.
  
  The hedge trimmer allows a reach of up to 335cm, based on an average height 5'11" person using the machine. It can cut branches up to a thickness of 25mm at a speed of 2800 strokes per minute. The hedge trimmer head can rotate around 180 degrees with seven different positions.
  
  This version of the pole hedge trimmer is supplied with a multi-voltage XR battery charger and high-density Lithium-ion 18 volt battery with a capacity of 5.0 Amp-hours, but we also sell the bare unit version if you already own other XR 18 volt power tools, garden or trade.
