Makita Rotary Hammer Drill | SDS-Plus | HR010G Bare Unit in Case
This rotary hammer drill from Makita is an ultra compact 40Vmax machine which is capable of drilling holes up to 20mm diameter in concrete. Attach a TCT core drill bit and it can drill 35mm diameter holes. The drill has an SDS-Plus bit holder, ideal for easy access to a massive range of different drill bits, as well as chisels for light demolition and tile removal.
There are three modes of operation on this drill. The first is rotary hammer, which rotates the drill as well as impacts, ideal for drilling concrete and masonry. The next is hammer only (also known as rotation-stop), which is suitable for chisels. Finally there is the rotary only (or hammer-stop) mode which is perfect for wood or steel drilling.
Included with the drill is a deep Type 4 MakPac Connector Case to store not only the drill, but with enough spare space to fit several batteries, charger and accessories. The drill comes with an adjustable side handle for extra drilling support, which has a depth stop built-into it.
