  Introducing the Makita KP001G, one of Makita's most powerful planers that's built for professionals and operates under Makita's 40Vmax range of batteries that deliver more power than standard 18V batteries.
  
  The KP001G is capable of cutting up to an impressive 4mm deep at a width of 82mm in a single pass using it's 2-blade cutter head that has double edge carbide blades and its powerful brushless motor that delivers up to 15,000rpm and a 1,100W maximum output.
  
  To adjust your cutting depth simply turn the knob located on the front and to ensure a smooth finish, the KP001G has soft soft technology that prevents unwanted jolting upon starting.
  
  This planer is equipped with Makita's AWS (Auto-start Wireless System) that synchronises the planer with any compatible dust extractor to reduce the dust and wood chippings in your workspace via an AWS chip (not supplied). Alternatively a compatible dust bag can be fitted to the side of the planer.
  
  For added safety the KP001G has an electric brake that stops the planer quickly upon releasing the trigger and a lock-off button that prevents the planer from accidentally powering on.
  
  This kit comes with a strong Makpac type 3 connector case that can be connected with other systainer cases and comes without batteries to keep the price lower and make it ideal for those who already have a Makita 40Vmax battery in their tool kit.
