Makita Twin-18V 36V Bike Handle Strimmer | 2 x 5.0Ah Batteries
A strimmer designed with the professional in mind and featuring a bike style handle and shoulder strap to allow long periods of use with minimal user fatigue. The DUR368A is completely cordless yet still extremely powerful thanks to the use of the two included 18V LXT batteries in series to provide the brushless DC motor drive system with 36 volts of power. Electronic power also comes with several other fantastic advantages including AFT for user safety that stops the motor when it detects a jam, as well as ADT which senses a load during normal use and increases torque to maintain the desired cutting speed.
In the event there is a jam with the machine, simply put the machine into reverse to easily clear the jam and continue. The machine can operate in three different speeds, all the way up to a maximum of 6,500 rpm, but has a soft start feature to improve user experience and allow you to maintain control. The controls are integrated into the right handle with a well laid out panel that is easy to understand at a glance. This model of strimmer has a small guard which allows the user better visibility of the cutting area, while still providing excellent protection.
