    Makita 5.0 Amp-hour 18 Volt Lithium-ion Battery Pack


    Lithium-ion type batteries are much higher density than older Nickel-Cadmium or Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries, and therefore for the same weight of battery pack they can contain many more times as much capacity. The battery packs feature a battery level monitor which at the push of a button displays the remaining battery charge. This allows you to decide which of your batteries you can pack and which need put on the charger at a quick glance.
