An extremely high performance cordless garden power tool from Makita's massive Twin-18 volt range that combines two of their popular 18V LXT batteries in series to provide the brushless DC motor with 36 volts, giving excellent torque and power. This strimmer has a cutting swathe of 350mm, allowing you to trim large areas of grass very quickly. The unit can run in three different speeds from 3,500 to 6,500 rpm, and even has a reverse function to help get untangled from especially stubborn grass clippings. This version is sold without batteries or charger to keep the price lower for the many people who already own plenty of 18V LXT batteries for their other garden or power tools.
