  The perfect tool for gardeners and maintenance people who need to carry various garden power tools, this consolidates the motors from each different tool into one. This means you only need to buy the motor once, and can separately buy the gardening attachments such as hedge trimmers, strimmers and pole saws, saving you money as well as taking up less storage room and being easier to transport. The motor drive unit includes all the features you would expect from a professional grade Makita garden power tool such as AFT to protect the user from bind-ups, reverse switch, electric brake, constant speed control and more. The different attachments can be swapped without needing to use tools. The motor itself runs from 36 volts and is a brushless DC type for excellent efficiency and torque. The 36 volts is provided to the motor by combining two standard 18v LXT batteries in series.
