This high performance machine runs at up to 40 Volts and uses a brushless DC motor unit to spin the head up to 6,500 rpm at full speed (3,500 rpm at low and 5,300 rpm on medium). The supplied nylon cutting head and guard is capable of sweeping a large 350mm diameter area that quickly clears grass and many weeds. In the event that weeds get tangled in the head, you can put the machine into reverse mode, allowing you to temporarily rotate the head in the opposite direction to get unstuck - much safer than manually removing stuck clippings. This kit comes with two 2.5 Amp-hour battery packs as well as a fast charger that is capable of completely replenishing each battery in just 28 minutes from flat. The inclusion of the ADP10 XGT to LXT charging adaptor allows you to also use this charger to quickly recharge your 18V LXT battery packs if you have any. The handle design gives you much more control especially when operating in a left to right sweeping motion, ideal for professionals.
