Makita 40Vmax Brushless String Trimmer | UR008G with 2 x 2.5Ah Batteries
Featuring a brushless motor running at 40 Volts max, this brush cutter is supplied with a line trimming head, but accepts any left hand thread accessory that is M10 by 1.25mm. The motor is capable of spinning the head at up to 6,000 rpm, and is backed up with several intelligent technologies which monitor the motor rotation. The first is ADT or Automatic torque Drive Technology - this senses high load and adjusts the speed if more torque is required. The next is Active Feedback sensing Technology - which monitors a sudden slow-down or stop of the head while motor power is still engaged, and cuts power. This protects the user in the event of a jam, exceptionally important when dealing with this level of power. Other quality of life features include soft-start, pressure sensitive speed control, and an electronic brake.
