    Makita Brushless String Trimmer | 40Vmax XGT | UR008G Bare Unit


    An excellent quality brush cutter from Makita's 40Vmax XGT line of power tools. It is supplied with a nylon cutting head and a low profile/high visibility guard that gives you a cutting swathe of 430mm.

    As with many of Makita's garden power tools, especially the higher powered machines, the UR008G comes with a series of features to improve usability and safety including a current limiter, soft start, reverse function, electronic brake, ADT and AFT.

    ADT constantly monitors the load on the motor and if required will vary the speed and/or torque to maintain cutting performance. AFT detects sudden slowdowns that might happen during a jam and turns the motor off to protect the user.

    The UR008G is rated at a similar power to a 30cc petrol grass trimmer and the Z01 version is supplied without batteries or charger for a lower price, making this the ideal purchase for professional tradesmen or gardeners who have other XGT batteries.
