  DeWalt Commercial Forestry Saw | 250mm | 54V FlexVolt

  
  This impressive bit of kit is a 10 inch circular saw on a steel pole. It is designed for work at ground level where a strimmer or brush cutter doesn't cut the mustard. It is supplied with a 250mm diameter saw blade with 24 teeth.
  
  It lasts a surprisingly long time, with DeWalt claiming 66 minutes on a 15Ah battery pack - that's 4 minutes 24 seconds per Ah, so 26m on a 6.0Ah battery - not bad at all.
  
  The tool comes with a bike-style handle instead of a smaller loop handle - definitely a must for a tool of this type. The bike (or bull) handle gives you much greater control compared to a loop handle.
  
  The DCMBC723 runs from a single FlexVolt battery pack - of which none are supplied unless you select the option to do so. The motor runs at the full 54V (or 60Vmax) that the battery is capable of putting out.
