DeWALT Brushless 33cm String Trimmer | 18V XR | DCM561PBS-XJ | Bare Unit
This is the updated version of the brilliant DeWalt DCM561 which now comes with a split shaft. This makes shipping and storage much easier due to the box being less than a metre long compared to the original fixed shaft being almost 1.8 metres boxed. It comes without the battery or charger to save you money if you already have these or other compatible batteries.
The guard is designed in a way that allows you to cut and see more area and the strimmer is complete with a padded auxiliary handle for improved handling and comfort. Using the DeWalt XR technology this extends the runtime of the battery by up to 57% over standard batteries. The grass trimmer uses 2mm diameter line which has a quick change feature to allow you to easily swap line when the supplied 7.5m is used up. As well as a speed selection switch the string trimmer has a variable speed trigger to allow fine control of the string.
