Makita 80Vmax Brushless Strimmer/Brush Cutter | UR012G with 2 x 5.0Ah Batteries
An incredibly powerful strimmer from Makita's XGT range that uses two of the already powerful batteries together in series to deliver up to 80 Volts of power to the brushless DC motor for truly petrol-like performance.
The UR012G has an offset bike handle set up which gives the operator fantastic control over the cutting of grass and weeds, with the control being via the right handle. The trigger is pressure sensitive for speed control, and there is also a control panel that allows you to select from 3 maximum speeds or reverse to get unstuck.
The machine comes with a premium heavy duty nylon cutting head as standard to get you started, but it is compatible with a large range of accessories that fit an M10 x 1.25 left thread. This allows it to be converted to a brush cutter if the appropriate guard is also added.
On maximum speed this machine can rotate at up to 6,400 rpm thanks to the incredible output power rating of 2,000 Watts (that's ~2.7 horsepower). The supplied nylon cutting head and grass trimming guard gives this strimmer the cutting swathe of almost half a metre, at 480mm.
This kit is supplied with two of the newest XGT battery packs that use Lithium-ion chemistry and each have a capacity of 5.0 Amp-hours. As they're running in series to deliver 80Vmax, the total series battery capacity is also 5.0 Amp-hours. The kit also has a twin-port battery charger and a harness.
