It saves you from having to buy multiple separate cordless garden powertools, especially when it is only possible to use one machine at a time. The multi-tool back end unit contains the motor and control gear. This motor is a brushless DC type that operates at 54 Volts when connected to a FlexVolt battery and can drive the shaft at 4,650 rpm on the low setting or 5,800 rpm on the high setting. Attachments are easy to swap, not even requiring any tools to do so, making for excellent professional productivity.
