DEWALT FlexVolt String Trimmer With Split-Shaft | 54V | DCM5713N-XJ
This impressive strimmer is a high power cordless machine that allows a line cutting speed of 5500 rpm. It is easy to use thanks to the rear mounted battery moving the centre of gravity backwards for better balance, plus the second handle for added maneuverability. The shaft of the strimmer has a split to allow for easier transportation and storage, and the battery location is protected by a durable Xenoy housing.
The DCM5713 has a large cutting swath of 38cm which aids the user in clearing large areas very quickly. The brushless motor gives extra runtime from the FlexVolt batteries (not included). DEWALT give a no-load runtime of up to 54 minutes with a 9.0Ah battery, so the 12.0Ah battery would push it well over the hour mark. The machine is capable of operating various speeds between 0-5100 and 0-5600 to give greater control or power.
