Makita 10cm Brushless Pruning Saw | 1 x 5.0Ah 18V Battery
This 4 inch long chainsaw from Makita's 18 Volt LXT range is perfect for pruning branches where you don't need to carry a fully sized chainsaw. As well as directly pruning trees and shrubs, it is also great for breaking down piles of pruning waste.
This version of the saw comes with a single 5.0 Amp-hour 18 Volt Lithium-ion battery pack as well as a charger. It gets fantastic runtime thanks to the usage of a brushless DC motor, which drives the chain at 8.0 metres per second for quick, smooth and efficient cutting.
To keep the cutting performance up, the chain is kept cool and lubricated using an auto oiler. For user safety, there is a protective cover above the blade which will retract out of the way when going through material.
