Makita 18V Sectional Pole Chainsaw | 200mm Bar | 2.5m Length | with 1x 5.0Ah Battery
This pole mounted chainsaw has an optional center section in order to make it longer. The center section measures 90cm, bringing the total length of the saw to approximately 2.5 metres. The pole carries power to the motor which is mounted in the head. This reduces losses caused by driving a long spindle shaft and reduces the number of moving parts. This efficiency improvement allows the unit to be powered by just a single 18 Volt Lithium-ion battery pack. This version of the saw comes with one battery with a 5.0 Amp-hour capacity, but you can also use your own LXT batteries if you already own more. The head has a chain bar which measures 200mm in length. To make it more versatile there is also a hook which lets you pull branches down or out of the way.
