  This large chainsaw features a 50cm bar making it ideal for professional use. It is supplied in a purpose made storage & transportation box that protects the unit and blade while in the van, but isn't the full size of the chainsaw, with the blade protruding from the end of the box. Included in the box is a multi-voltage mains charger as well as the large 9.0 Amp-hour (3.0Ah in application) battery pack. This battery can power any 54V or 18V XR powertool from DeWalt, making it extraordinarily versatile. Register your purchase of the DCMCS575 within 4 weeks of purchase and DeWalt will, free-of-charge, extend the standard 1 year warranty to a full 3 years. That gives you excellent peace-of-mind that if something goes wrong, DeWalt have you covered. The chain runs (without load) at 15 metres per second, and the long 500mm bar allows you to cut a length of 450mm. There is a chain brake built into the chainsaw which is operated through the front hand guard. This brings the chain to a stop as fast as possible in the event of a kickback, due to your hand/wrist coming into contact with the guard and operating the chain brake switch. Also included with the saw are felling dogs (bumper spikes) which help with stability and control. As you would expect, the saw is fitted with an automatic oiler, with a 115ml oil tank capacity to keep you going for more cuts between refills.
