The Metabo SSEP 18 LT Cordless Sabre Saw is designed for versatile cutting work in across building, renovation, installation and maintenance projects. Its 18V cordless design makes it suitable for tradespeople such as plumbers, electricians, builders, roofers and mechanics who need to cut timber, metal components and other materials using the appropriate saw blade.
With a variable no-load stroke rate of 0–3,000 strokes per minute and a 32 mm blade stroke, this recip saw delivers a high-level cutting performance across a range of applications. Vario (V) electronics allow the stroke rate to be adjusted to suit the material, while the selectable pendulum stroke helps optimise cutting performance. The angled soft-grip handle provides a comfortable grip during extended working periods.
Metabo Quick enables tool-free blade changes, helping users switch between suitable wood and metal blades quickly. The blade can be rotated through 180° for more convenient overhead cutting, while the tool-free adjustable depth guide supports smooth blade use and applications such as plunge cuts. An integrated LED work light illuminates the cutting line, and restart protection helps prevent unintentional start-up after a power interruption.
Part of the CAS (Cordless Alliance System), this reciprocating saw is compatible with 18V battery packs and chargers from Metabo and other participating CAS brands.
