  Makita Pruning Saw with 150mm Bar | 18V LXT | DUC150 Bare Unit

  
  Supplied without batteries or charger, this pruning saw works with any 18V LXT Li-ion battery pack in the huge Makita cordless range. This tool replaces the DUC101, which had a 100mm bar. The DUC150 is a highly capable machine, with a chain speed of 8.0 metres per second. One of the most impressive features of such a small chainsaw is that it includes an auto-oiler onboard, something sometimes missing even from full sized chainsaws. The saw only weighs 1.1kg (bare tool) but has an output power of 320 Watts, all directed into the premium chain to easily cut through branches. Thanks to the automatic guard, you can use the chainsaw one-handed or two handed, either of which is comfortable thanks to the rubberised grips.

  Brilliant tool, cordless, easy to use. Great for garden use and easy to cut thin branches, brambles etc. I was afraid of using a big chainsaw so great alternative as lighter, less scary! The chain came off a few times when I over worked it but easy to put it back on. Extremely happy with purchase.
