  Makita Cordless Brushless Chainsaw | 40Vmax XGT | UC025G

  
  This chainsaw from Makita's 40Vmax XGT range only requires a single battery pack to operate but delivers fantastic speed and power, rated at 1,600 Watts. This is the tooled version of the UC022 chainsaw where the gear cover is removed by two nuts which are kept captive in the cover for convenience.
  
  The chain runs at 25.5 metres per second with no load, and is backed by an inertia based chain brake system. The chainsaw is compatible with battery sizes up to and including the 5.0 Amp-hour, with any larger not fitting in the protective shroud and also unbalancing the machine.
  
  There is an onboard automatic oiler with 200ml capacity and an adjustable flow rate. To turn the machine on there is a five stage process for added safety; pull the front guard/brake towards you, press the power switch, move the safety lever lockout forward, press the safety lever, and finally, squeeze the trigger.
