  Makita Twin-18V 36V Brushless 40cm Chainsaw | DUC405 Bare Unit

  As a quieter and safer alternative to petrol powered chainsaws, Makita's Twin-18V range of machines combines two batteries in series for 36V brushless power. This model is supplied with a 400mm bar and has an adjustable automatic oiler to keep the chain in excellent condition, with a 200ml capacity tank that allows you to see the remaining oil level at a glance. The DUC405 features a kickback brake which detects most kickback events and uses the built-in electric brake to stop the chain as fast as possible. During use, you can vary the speed of the chain using the pressure sensitive trigger all the way up to 20 metres per second which is equivalent to 1,100 Watts of output power. This kit is not supplied with batteries or charger for cost savings if you have LXT 18v tools already, but is available as a two battery kit - search our site for 'DUC405'.
