  Makita Twin-18V 36V Brushless 16" Chainsaw | 2 x 5.0Ah Batteries

  
  The professional grade DUC405 features a 36 volt DC motor drive system that gets its power by combining the two included 18 volt LXT batteries in series, allowing for excellent torque to the chain for tough cutting tasks. These saws are a much more convenient alternative to petrol machines as they're cheaper to run as well as having excellent features like an electric brake and kickback brake. They get excellent runtime as they're not always 'running' like a petrol machine would be, and the brushless type motor is highly efficient. This version is fitted with a long 400mm bar which is an excellent choice for professionals. The batteries supplied with this kit are two of the 5.0 Amp-hour LXT range of 18 volt Lithium-ion packs, which can be simultaneously recharged in only 45 minutes using the included dual port charger, which can also recharge your phone or tablet thanks to the USB port.
