    Makita Cordless Chainsaw | 40Vmax XGT | UC016G


    This chainsaw from Makita operates from a single 40Vmax XGT Lithium-ion battery pack. It has a 40cm class bar and is suitable for professional or domestic use. The power is equivalent to a 42cc petrol chainsaw, thanks to the motor operating at 36-40V.

    The UC016G has the safety features you would expect of such a tool, including a three-stage power switch - first the power button, then the safety release, and then the trigger switch. Additionally there is also a front guard switch which doubles as a kickback switch.
