A powerful machine that combines the power of two of the common LXT 18v battery packs together to output 36 volts to drive the motor. The battery packs are side-loaded under the body of the machine for excellent balance. The DHR400 has an SDS-Max bit holder and accepts a huge range of different drill and demolition bits from any SDS-Max brand. For better illumination in low light conditions, the drill has a twin-LED job-light that shines a flood of light at the work area.
For better versatility, the machine is supplied with a wireless control unit called AWS or Auto-start Wireless System. This uses Bluetooth technology to wirelessly communicate with compatible dust extractors, allowing them to turn on automatically when the drill is used.This is much more convenient than manually turning the extractor on and off.
The DHR400 has a powerful brushless motor that allows excellent runtime thanks to the improved efficiencies over traditional brushed motors. The motor is intelligently controlled that allows features like soft-start and soft-no-load that run the motor up gradually to reduce jolt, and slow the motor when the bit is not doing work to reduce body vibrations.
