The Makita DHR202Z 18 Volt SDS + rotary hammer drill is the ideal tool for use by professional tradesmen or avid DIY enthusiasts, due to its ability to drill in steel, wood and masonry applications. It is powered by Lithium Ion and will run on 3Ah, BL1830 and 4Ah, BL1840 batteries (not included). The rotary hammer drill integrates a unique rubber joint construction to minimise vibrations to the battery and terminals helping to improve tool durability.
The DHR202Z offers 3 modes of operation: rotary only, hammer only, and rotary hammer where the drill bit can rotate 360º in rotary mode with a choice of 40 different locking positions. Additional features include a one touch sliding chuck for easy bit changes and a powerful LED work light with afterglow function. A variable speed control trigger offers maximum control and accuracy while an easy to find switch changes between forward and reverse directions. Ergonomic shape and comfortable grip handle reduces user fatigue.
