    Makita 600mm 40V Hedgetrimmer | UH004G Bare Unit


    This hedge cutter has a long 600mm blade with cutters on both sides that make it easy to use a smooth back-and-forth motion to quickly and cleanly trim bushes and hedges.

    The black section of the rear handle can pivot around 90 degrees either direction from centre, giving you the ability to use the tool at an angle comfortably for longer periods of time.

    This machine is powered by a single 40Vmax XGT Lithium-ion battery pack driving an electric motor, meaning it is much quieter than a petrol equivalent, and lighter than a 2x18v LXT tool.

    This version of the machine is not supplied with any batteries or a charger, meaning we can keep the cost lower for those that already have the compatible XGT batteries.

    In the event that the blade gets stuck (for example if you try to cut a branch larger than 23.5mm), there is a convenient switch to temporarily reverse the direction of the motor and therefore the blades.
