This hedge trimmer has a long 600mm blade with teeth on both sides in order to maximise functionality. The rear handle (black section with the battery) can swivel around, and there is a large wraparound auxiliary handle, allowing for much easier facing of hedges and bushes without twisting your hand into awkward positions. The teeth have a wide gap of 23.5mm, allowing for cutting of branches that thickness with ease. In the event that the machine gets stuck, it is easy to switch into reverse mode to quickly release the jam. The auxiliary handle has a safety switch, and the rear handle has the main switch, meaning if either hand lets go the machine will switch off. On the fastest setting, the UH004G will operate at 5,000 strokes per minute, which is over 83 per second. This particular kit, the UH004GD202, is supplied with two battery packs and a fast charger. Each battery is 2.5 Amp-hours in capacity, and can be recharged in only 28 minutes. Additional 2.5Ah and 4.0Ah batteries packs are also available separately.
