The Metabo MS 18 LTX 15 Cordless Pruning Saw is designed for tree surgeons, landscapers, grounds maintenance teams, gardeners and agricultural workers carrying out pruning and cutting tasks. Its compact design and 150mm cutting length make it particularly useful for cutting back trees and shrubs, removing branches and handling general green waste where a larger chainsaw would be less convenient.
Powered by an 18V battery, the pruning saw delivers a maximum chain speed of 5 m/s, maintaining a consistently high cutting speed under load. The low-kickback chain helps provide controlled cutting with reduced vibration, while its lightweight 1.6kg body weight (without battery) makes it easier to handle during repetitive pruning work.
Safety features include a protective guard, grip protection and a safety switch to help prevent accidental starting. Rubberised gripping areas improve handling, while the quick-closure system makes changing and tensioning the chain straightforward using the tensioning tool stored on the housing.
For additional reach, the saw is compatible with the optional Metabo MS telescopic handle, allowing it to be used as a pole pruner for tree maintenance. Supplied with a 150mm guide bar, matching saw chain, chain protection, 100ml bio chain oil, hexagonal wrench and metaBOX 145 L storage case.
