  Makita 600mm 18V Cordless Hedge Trimmer | DUH601 Bare Unit

  
  Please note, this trimmer is not supplied with batteries/charger.
  
  Designed to easily cut and shape hedges, this high quality hedge trimmer features a rotating rear handle which allows the user to get the blade into the right position without needing to uncomfortably twist their arm. It has a large 270 degree auxiliary handle making it easier to handle for long periods of time.
  
  For fine speed control you can use the pressure sensitive variable speed trigger, or use the 3 speed controller to cycle between maximum stroke rates of 2,000, 3,600 and 4,400. The machine can cut branches up to a diameter of 23.5mm, and can even be used in reverse to get unstuck. 
  
  The machine is powered by a single 18V LXT battery pack, which is not included, making this lower cost version ideal for those who already own these common batteries. It powers a brushless DC motor which has fantastic internal efficiencies and requires much less maintenance than brushed motors.
