This extra long hedge trimmer from Makita has a 750mm long blade making it not only capable of removing material quickly, but also ideal for making extra flat faces when shaping hedges. It's capable of cutting branches up to a maximum diameter of 23.5mm thanks to the blade gap of that size.
This operates from the 40Vmax platform of XGT tools, and is supplied with two compatible Lithium-ion battery packs that each have a capacity of 2.5 Amp-hours. The battery sits at the furthest point to the rear of the tool, making it well balanced despite its large size. As well as the two batteries is a DC40RA battery charger that can quickly replenish a spent battery while you use the other.
