This circular saw from Makita's newest 40Vmax range of cordless powertools is designed with professional use in mind. It gives performance similar to a corded machine thanks to the high power batteries combined with the brushless DC motor. During use, the motor automatically adjusts the torque based on the load for a constant speed while cutting and in the event that it does get overloaded, there is a clear indication in the form of an overload warning lamp. This unit is also compatible with Makita's AWS or Auto-start Wireless System that connects to suitable dust extractors and synchronises the running of dust extraction with the operation of the saw. The saw takes the common sized 190mm blades and is capable of making a maximum cut depth of 60mm straight, or 43mm at a 45 degree bevel. The kit is supplied with a fast charger so you can rapidly charge the two included 2.5Ah 40Vmax batteries.
