  DeWalt 190mm Rail Saw | HIGHPOWER | 54V FlexVolt | 2 x 9.0Ah Batteries

  
  This saw brings DeWalt's flagship rail compatible circular saw up to the latest technology with improved motor internals allowing for more magnets and copper windings. This brings the total power output of this saw to almost 2.5 KiloWatts when used with the two included high performance 9.0 Amp-hour battery packs. That's 47 percent more power than the first generation DCS576 which the DCS579 is due to replace. These improvements are also available for the non-rail version of this saw as the new DCS578 (replacing the 575), also available from us.
  
  This kit, as mentioned, comes with two of DeWalt's latest 9.0 Amp-hour capacity FlexVolt Lithium-ion battery packs, which have more electronics than the Apollo lander. All these electronics help to maintain the health of the type-21700 cells during high power loads such as the DCS579, and fast charging. The charger included in this kit features active fan cooling to allow it to maintain performance without thermal degradation while it charges the battery at up to an incredible 8 Amps of current. You can also add the DWS5022 guide rail which is 1.5 metres in length allowing you to take full advantage of the DCS579 as soon as it arrives.
