This high performance router give you the freedom to route where you want without the burden of having to plug in and run extension cords safely. It uses a high performance brushless motor which allows you to spend more time routing and less time on maintenance and battery recharging. This router is part of the incredible DEWALT XR range of lithium-ion powered powertools, so the batteries with this kit will work with your DEWALT drills, impact drivers, grinders and sanders. Our kit comes complete with all the normal accessories such as bases and fences, but also a multi-voltage charger and two high density 5 Amp hour Li-ion batteries.
The kit is packaged in a deep T-Stak Kitbox which allows you to store the router, its two bases, fences and dust extraction accessories securely to prevent damage around the site or in the back of the van. The motor on the DCW604 has a lot of technology behind it including soft start, electronic brake and variable speed control. The body of the bare router is manufactured from aluminium making it lightweight and easy to use all day. Both bases have rubber over-mouldings to make them comfortable and ergonomic to use for long periods. The charger charges 1Ah per 15 minutes so should charge each battery completely in approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
