This extremely cost effective circular saw is based on the more feature-rich DSS610 but lacks a few additional features while still remaining a powerful saw suitable for professionals and avid-DIYers alike. Both saws are designed with user comfort in mind and has a ergonomic contoured handle with rubber mouldings for soft-touch and grip. To prevent accidental starting (a problem particular to battery tools), there is a safety switch which can be accessed regardless of which hand you're using the saw in. The DSS611 takes the common 165mm diameter circular saw blades which are the perfect balance between maximum depth of cut and efficiency, especially important for runtime in cordless powertools. The saw has a removable dust port which lets you connect to dust extraction, but when removed the dust is directed away from the user for less mess.
