This is the DCS383 metal cutting circular saw from DeWalt. It features a chip collector mounted right on the side of the tool, which will pick up the large majority of chips created when cutting a range of metals. The blade is driven by the latest in brushless DC motor technology, giving you the best of all words with torque, efficiency, battery runtime, and to top it all off, being maintenance-free too.
There is a viewing window to let you see the blade as it cuts the material, which is illuminates by an automatic LED light. The blade measures 184mm in diameter, with a 20mm diameter bore hole. The supplied blade is a 48 tooth blade, providing an excellent cut requiring only minimal post-processing. The base plate of the saw is made from extra durable stainless steel for long life.
