    This fantastic value battery operated hedge trimmer is ideal for those who already have Makita's LXT batteries for other power tools. The DUH523 has a long reach thanks to the 520mm blade, and is capable of cutting branches up to a thickness of 15mm. To allow the user experience to be as friendly as possible, the motor is on a floating cushioned mount to reduce vibration transferred through to the hands. The grips have rubber mouldings to make it more comfortable to the touch, and with a battery installed the machine is well balanced and easy to use for long periods by garden professionals and homeowners alike.
