This powerhouse of a machine is more powerful than even some corded Rotary Hammer Drills thanks to the incredible output from the convertible XR FlexVolt battery system delivering 54 volts to the motor. The motor in the DCH614 is a brushless DC type, which requires much less maintenance than their brushed counterparts while delivering huge efficiency increases - essential for a high end cordless machine. The drill has the bigger SDS-Max type chuck which takes a large range of DEWALT, Bosch, Makita, Draper and more branded drill bits and chisels. This kit comes with a large kit box suitable for storage of the drill and accessories, which include a fast FlexVolt charger and two 9.0Ah 18/54V XR FlexVolt batteries. The DCH614 drill has built-in wireless tool control which means that it can be paired with compatible dust extraction tools such as the DWH161 and DCV586M which will start automatically with the drill, run for a short period after drilling, then auto-shut off.
