Makita Cordless Kit | 185-190mm 2x18V Circular Saw | 18v Combi Drill
This brilliant combo kit features the incredible DHS710 circular saw which can cut to a maximum depth of 66mm thanks to the twin battery port. This connects two Makita 18 volt LXT batteries together in series to provide the motor with 36 volts. You'd think this would make it bulky and awkward to use, but Makita made sure to make the saw more compact and lightweight, with a rubber overmolded handle and ergonomically designed auxiliary handle. The saw takes blades between a diameter of 185mm to 190mm with a 20/30mm bore. The dust exhausts to the rear-right and can be attached to a dust extraction system for easier clean-up.
The combi drill in this combo pack is the DHP482 which features a metal gearbox with two mechanical speeds, which allows you to pick between higher speed or higher torque. It can drill into timber up to a diameter of 38mm using an appropriate bit and with the 13mm chuck it can drill holes up to 13mm in masonry and steel. It operates off just one of the included 18 volt batteries, and the torque can be adjusted between 21 settings to engage the clutch at the desired screwdriving torque up to 62Nm, or for drilling the clutch can be overridden.
This kit comes in three MAKPAC cases; a Type 2, Type 3 and Type 4. This allows you to store the two power tools as well as the four included LXT 18V Lithium-ion batteries and all the accessories. Also included in this pack is Makita's best charger, the dual slot DC18RD which allows charging of two LXT batteries simultaneously.
