DEWALT 10 Piece All Brushless Power Tools Kit | 4x 5.0Ah 18V XR Batteries
This large power tool kit comes supplied in a ToughSystem trolley including three removable boxes of increasing size. To power the kit are four high density 5.0 Amp-hour capacity Lithium-ion batteries, each with a state-of-charge indicator to tell you the battery level at a glance. To keep those charged up is a dual-port XR battery charger that allows you to get up and running again quickly.
Each of the motor driven machines (so that excludes the DCL050 work light, which uses high power LEDs) has a brushless DC motor. Brushless motors are much more efficient in design than traditional brushed motors and this results in longer battery life from each battery pack.
The combi drill in this pack is the professional grade DCD996 that has a 3 speed XRP gearbox for torque, speed or a balance of both. Frequently used with that is the impact driver, which is the DCF887 in this case. It delivers incredible torque while still remaining lightweight and compact, making it ideal for use in tight spaces. If the 996 isn't enough for the bore of hole you need to drill there is the DCH273 compact rotary hammer drill that takes SDS-Plus drill bits. It even features a rotation-stop mode to allow some light chiselling tasks like tile removal and plaster cleanup.
Next is several-tools-in-one, that is the DCS355 oscillating multi-tool, capable of being a saw, sander and scraper and supplied with 29 different accessories to get you started. For larger cutting jobs you can use the DCS334 top-handle jigsaw which can make cuts up to 135mm in wood or 25mm in aluminium, and even make bevel cuts up to 47 degrees.
When you need to make longer cuts in sheet materials, the DCS570 takes a 184mm circular saw blade and can cut to a depth of 65mm straight, and can also bevel to up to 57 degrees. For more aggressive and rough cutting the DCS367 easily chops through anything you throw at it, and is ideal for cutting pipe and other material that may be fixed in place already. Also useful in this area is the DCG405 angle grinder which is extremely powerful for the weight, and thanks to the compact design is possible to use at various angles and in awkward spaces. Finally the DCP580 planer lets you finish rough cuts or plane material down to final size.
