  Both the DHP487 combi drill and the DTD157 impact driver have brushless DC motors. This gives them countless advantages over their brushed counterparts including lower maintenance, higher torque, improved power and performance. This kit is packaged in a storage case big enough to hold both machines, both batteries and the mains charger for the batteries. The combi drill has a torque selection ring for using it as a screwdriver, and a drilling mode selector to choose between screwdriving, regular drilling and hammer drilling. Hammer drilling enables the hammer function that impacts the masonry up to 425 times per second. Both the drill and the impact driver have a powerful LED work light that illuminates when in use. The impact driver has a control panel on the foot of the machine to let you control the functions. It has an A-mode, hard mode and soft mode to allow you to select the most appropriate for the application. The impact driver is capable of delivering up to 140 Nm of fastening torque on the highest mode. This kit is powered by a pair of 5.0 Amp-hour 18 Volt LXT Lithium-ion battery packs, which can be recharged using the mains charging station also included in the box.
