This quadruple cordless kit from Makita operates from their 18 Volt LXT Lithium-ion battery packs. The kit features four high performance power tools plus a powerful LED torch. The torch has a swivelling head, capable of rotating around 170 degrees. With one of the 5.0Ah batteries installed, it will operate non-stop for 45 hours.
The DTD153 is an impact driver that features a quick load 1/4" hex bit holder, compatible with all impact rated screwdriver bits and nut setters. You can also use it with small impact sockets if you add a 1/4" hex to square drive adaptor. The impact driver gives you the ability to tighten screws and bolts up to 170Nm, without even breaking your wrist. It does this by internally impacting the momentum of a weight against the anvil up to 60 times per second.
The DHR242 is a rotary hammer drill featuring an SDS-Plus quick-release bit holding chuck. This chuck lets you use a huge range of different attachments from any brand as long as it features the SDS-Plus logo. The drill lets you drill up to a 24mm diameter hole in concrete when used with the appropriate bit, and can also drill 13mm in steel or 27mm in wood, however...
The DHP485 combination hammer drill is the perfect middle ground between the previous two machines. It has a 3 jaw keyless chuck for easy changes between drill bits, screwdriver bits and more (including polishing and cleaning attachments). Using the combi drill, you can drill holes up to 13mm in metal or masonry, and an impressive 38mm diameter holes (using the right bit) in timber.
