  Makita 1400W Wall Chaser | 125mm | 6 - 30mm Groove Width

  
  The SG1251J is a powerful wall chaser from Makita in a compact and easy to use form factor. This is the newer version of the SG1250 which now has a trigger switch operated from the grip for a safer and more ergonomic experience. It takes two 125mm diameter cutting wheels which allow a range of different tracking depths and widths. To allow optimal cutting performance the wall chaser has constant speed control that allows it to adjust based on the load to the motor. As with many of Makita's other angle grinder based machines, this has the SJS system which reduces machine vibration especially during start up, and also prevents burning out the motor during binding.
  
  

  VC3012M Dust Extractor Option

  
  To deal with the large amount of debris generated by this powerful wall chaser, you need an excellent dust extraction system to back it up. The Makita VC3012M is a professional grade dust extractor that is up to the job, featuring an M-Class dust extraction certification. The M-Class rating means that is can collect 99.9 percent of dust particles including silica dust from masonry and concrete. If you opt to include the dust extractor with the wall chaser, the dust extractor will also come in the same voltage version as the wall chaser. The 230 volt version of the dust extractor has automated power take-off that automatically starts dust-extraction when the wall chaser is started, however the 110v version does not have this feature.
