DeWalt 18V Cordless Belt Sander | 75 x 533mm | Bare Unit & Case
This machine adds a belt sander to DeWalt's growing range of cordless sanders. It has a 75mm wide base and takes 533mm long sanding belts. The range of power tools only available as corded machines is rapidly shrinking, allowing professionals to carry out their craft entirely cut off from mains power. This premium power tool features a latest generation brushless DC motor which gives many advantages including lighter weight, improved efficiency, greater torque and lower maintenance requirements. The motor can drive the belt up to a maximum speed of 320 metres per minute. In order to give you better control over the speed of the belt, there is a variable speed dial which allows the belt to travel as slow as 198 m/min, and the pressure sensitive trigger lets you feather the speed with your finger. For constant running there is a trigger lock-on to take pressure off your finger for better ergonomics. As standard, the DCW220NT comes with a dust collection bag, but it is also compatible with AirLock dust extraction accessories, and features Wireless Tool Control, letting the tool automatically start compatible dust extractors when paired.
