DeWalt Band File | 13 x 457mm | 2 x 1.7Ah 18V PowerStack Batteries
An ultra compact cordless filing belt sander from DeWalt in their 18 Volt XR range. This kit, completely cross-compatible with all 18V XR tools and batteries, comes supplied with two of the Compact PowerStack battery packs which have a capacity of 1.7 Amp-hours, but are perfect for this application. The PowerStack batteries are able to perform as well as a standard 5.0Ah 18V battery pack in performance, while being much less weighty. The charger included in this kit has the same output as the standard DCB112 that is included in most kits, but the new DCB1102 is much more compact, taking up less space and weight in the kit box. There is an included side handle as well as a dust extraction shroud. To get you started, there are two 80 Grit belts supplied in the box. As well as the straight arm, DeWalt have also included an offset arm in the box, great for sanding convex surfaces.
