  The DFR550 is the upgraded and more durable version of the BFR440. Auto feed screwdrivers are an absolute game-changer compared to driving screw-after-screw with a drill driver or even an impact driver. The collated screw attachment accepts screws up to a length of 55mm and takes strips of screws to allow fitting drywall extremely quickly. The machine has a screw guide which smoothly directs the screw strip into position and preventing it from tangling. Another advantage this machine has over drill and impact drivers is the silent clutch, often one of the most user-fatiguing parts of the job due to the number of screws needed in a large drywall installation job. The DFR550 has a depth adjustment wheel to allow you to dial in to a new drywall/stud density within only a couple of screws. When not in use, the screw guide folds up, making the machine even more compact for storage and transportation. This screwdriver is part of Makita's long running tried-and-tested LxT range of Lithium-ion cordless power tools, and we're selling the body only version here to allow tradesmen and other professionals the opportunity to save money by not buying another charger and battery.
