  This powerful machine is not only impressive, but especially-so for a cordless tool. It features a nut busting torque of 1,600 Newton-metres and a maximum fastening torque of 1,000 Nm.
  
  This version is the bare tool only and is sold this way as many Makita power users already have plenty of LXT 18 volt batteries and at least one charger. As you can only use one tool at once, the body only tool lets you add this impact to your collection as cheaply as possible.
  
  The DTW1002 features a multi-function control switch that lets you enable or disable the high intensity double LED work light with a long press, or change the maximum impact force with a short press. The indicator next to the control button displays the current force setting and allows you to select the appropriate option between fastening low diameter bolts and quickly fastening high diameter bolts.
  
  This impact wrench has a considerably compact design considering its power, and has a rubber molded ergonomic handle for user comfort.
